April 2026 Newsletter

This month at Jolt

The Open is officially done! Big congrats to everyone who participated, gave it their all, and showed up strong. The camaraderie and encouragement were outstanding! Now, let's keep the energy rolling!

This month we'll be wrapping up the Apex Cycle and starting the Novus Cycle. This 7-week cycle transitions us out of competition season with an emphasis on positional strength work, Olympic lifting technique, and longer conditioning efforts. Novus marks a hard reset where we prioritize movement quality and fundamentals to build momentum for the months ahead. Read more here.

When did you start your fitness journey?

August 2024.

What do you like the most about Jolt Fitness?

Everyone is supportive and encouraging. The coaches offer modifications for any movement you need to modify and go over the techniques to ensure you are doing it correctly. The coaches and members encourage you to keep going.

What is your favorite movement? 

Back squats and wall balls.

The year has just started, what are your goals for this year? 

Box Jumps and Kipping.

What do you like to do besides working out?

Cooking, baking, traveling, and hanging out with family and friends.

What is your favorite high-protein snack?

Greek yogurt, nuts, and anything with peanut butter!

Would you rather do 1000 air squats or 500 push-ups? 

Air squats.
